Who You Are & Keys to Success (the must-haves)
To be successful in this job, you will excel in three areas:
Reliability: You set realistic goals for your time and communicate due dates and timelines to the team to keep us all working to the same ends. When you say you’ll complete something, you’ll get it done.
Attention to Detail: You strive for accuracy and mind which column figures are posted in. As the first set of eyes on our finances, you notice and fix errors that might be overlooked. You’ve got knowledge of accounting best practices and can problem-solve unexpected challenges.
Independence: Although you are comfortable asking for support from teammates, you do best when you’re setting your own schedule and delivering to a target. You don’t mind working alone.
Experience with documenting processes and future-oriented thinking are both plusses, but are not requirements.
