Building Capacity: Southern Oregon Technology Assistance By The Numbers
We've been working in Southern Oregon for two and a half years, and have some impressive results to show for it.
In the fall of 2003, we launched an ambitious program to bring technology planning, implementation, training and support services to Southern Oregon nonprofits. To date we have worked with over 100 different nonprofit organizations throughout the region—from Coos Bay to Klamath Falls and from Roseburg to Ashland. We have helped organizations develop technology plans, implement databases to manage client, member and donor data, trained staff and volunteers to update organizational websites, installed office networks and much more. With our help, groups are saving money and time, and working more efficiently and effectively.

“Using NetCorps permits a nonprofit to get information that is not price motivated. There's nothing wrong with a for profit motive but to remove that aspect is safe and helpful for nonprofits. Our staff and board were very impressed with the technology assessment process and report. There's nowhere we could have received the information we did, the detail, the encouragement even, for the price.”
