TAPP Workshops

Technology Planning Workshops in Greensboro, NC

FREE workshops tailored to the non-techie or "accidental techie" person who is responsible for making decisions about technology and supporting office technology needs.

Topics will include how to assess your current technology infrastructure, options and recommendations on Internet connectivity, computer hardware and software, technology budgeting and funding, databases, email clients, anti-malware, firewalls, client and donor management, website and email hosting, forums, listservs, and use of technology consultants and volunteers.

Additionally, groups attending these workshops may be eligible to apply to participate in the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro initiative —
TAPP, the Technology Assessment and Planning Project. Through TAPP, nonprofit organizations that have participated in the Community Foundation-sponsored Technology Planning trainings may be eligible* to apply for individual consultation with NetCorps to help create a technology plan as well as small grants to provide materials for the implementation process.
