WordPress

ballantynesite.jpgWordPress, typically used for blogs, can also be used to easily manage reasonably simple websites as well. If you have a website with 5-20 static pages but also want to be able to post news updates, add articles, hook into Facebook, Twitter and/or pull in videos and photos, WordPress may be the tool for you.

"From the first email contact to project completion, your professionalism stood out above all.  Tons of compliments on the new site helps too!  Bravo, job well done!" Josh Diaz, Ballantyne Chamber Orchestra

WordPress offers a simple administration/editing interface with easy tools for importing images, audio and video or linking to content on other sites (YouTube video, for example).

sauvieislandcenter.jpgWordPress has a very active development community and hundreds of plug-ins and themes are available for free to add flair and functionality to your site.

Typically a WordPress website project with netCorps will cost between $1000 and $2000, depending on design customization and desired functionality. WordPress website hosting for nonprofits can range in price from free (we like free!) to typically no more than $10/month.

"netCorps updated our website and made it easy for staff to make simple, timely updates. Now the website is working for us:  accepting online donations, adding people to our email list, linking them to our social media sites, etc. Thanks netCorps!"  Anna Goldrich, Sauvie Island Center

alaskaquietrights.orgWordPress sites are also generally very fast to implement--we can usually get a new WordPress website with a lightly customized design up and running in a couple weeks. If you are considering WordPress or would like to know more, contact us by clicking here!

"AQRC was delighted with the work netCorps did in regard to the transfer and redesign of our website. The cost was reasonable, the work done promptly and the staff easy to work with and so very patient ! Susan Olsen, President, Alaska Quiet Rights Coalition"
