Supports the information technology and online abilities of LGBT and HIV/AIDS groups in Oregon.
Winter 2002 - Fall 2002
The Oregon office of NetCorps is pleased to announce its recipients for technology planning and assistance. Called Project Impact, this project will support the information technology and online abilities of LGBT and HIV/AIDS groups in Oregon. Selected groups receive a needs assessment, assistance in securing funding, and implementation & support. Funding for this project comes from the Gill Foundation, the Meyer Memorial Trust, the Pride Foundation and the Equity Foundation. The groups that have been selected to participate in NetCorps' technology planning and assistance project include:
- AIDS Support & Prevention of Josephine County, Grants Pass
- Brother to Brother, Portland
- Danzine, Portland
- Hambleton Project, Portland
- HIV Alliance, Eugene
- HIV Resource Center, Roseburg
- Human Dignity Coalition, Bend
- Love Makes a Family, Portland
- 'Q', Eugene
- Women’s InterCommunity AIDS Resource, Portland
This is a great opportunity for groups to build capacity, improve efficiency, and increase effectiveness. NetCorps is looking forward to working with these groups over the coming months.
