Basebuilding Partners

The Basebuilding Initiative is made up of three separate but closely linked efforts:

  • Equality NC Foundation coordinates list enhancement and civic participation services for groups working lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and allied individuals.  This project serves nonprofit, 501(c)3 organizations with a demonstrated commitment to the LGBT community (though not necessarily as their primary mission) and a desire to increase civic engagement by their members and supporters.

  • Conservation Council of NC Foundation runs a list enhancement service for environmental and allied organizations working to advocate for a better environment and engage citizens in the democratic process.

  • The LEAP project, sponsored by netCorps, works with social justice groups to provide list enhancement services and encourage collaborative work on a wide range of issues.
